POSITION DETAILS: Position Title: Senior Engineer/Marketing Executive Qualification: B.E/DIPLOMA – ELECTRICAL / MBA – Marketing Experience: Having 1-3 Years of Sales and marketing experience in back office shall be preferred/ fresher’s May also apply. Location: Bharuch/Vapi Salary: Salary based on experience (Salary is not constraint for right candidate). Job Description: – Reporting to: Sr. Manager – JOB KNOWLEDGE: GENERAL – Negotiation Skills, Presentation skills, Co-ordination skills, Basic Computer Literacy – MS Office, etc. – JOB SUMMARY: Preparing offer as per the customer requirements and specification or as per the instruction given by the seniors. Generate Purchase Order vis-à-vis data entry in ERP. Prepare BOM. Complying with ISO requirements related to Marketing Department. – LIMIT OF AUTHORITY: Operational: Authorized to operate the Marketing Department to meet sales & marketing requirements and expectations. – JOB DUTIES: (1) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: i) To ensure targets are met on a regular basis from the designated areas of business like Automation, Trading, PLC, Drive, MCC, APFC, etc. ii) Forwarding mails to all relevant team members & respond to inquiries within 12 working hours. iii) Respond to any kind of relevant inquiries within 12 working hours, iv) Weekly updation of ISO documents and records including customer complaint register (Monday Morning for previous week). v) Accurate Sales order BOM uploading in ERP as per the specified time limit. vi) Preparing Offers – Tracking, follow up, responding to any changes in offer and updation/communication of the same. Offers to be sent as per the written commitment made to customer. vii) All order confirmations to be checked and responded to suppliers (In case of any Discrepancy) within 1 working day. (2) MARKETING: i) To plan, act and oversee the execution of local area sales/business activities and research into customer satisfaction and requirements for improvement. ii)To device strategies for effective and real time market intelligence in order to stay ahead of competition and make cost effective marketing ideas in order to optimis sales. iii)To inform management any significant development in the market in terms of new competition, new campaign by competition or any other relevant matter which is significant and important in nature. iv) To constantly be on the lookout for new business avenues and opportunities to increase market share both in sales and service. (3) CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION: i) To improve the quality of customer service and retention by enhanced facilities and improved technical and soft skills resulting in lower cost of ownership and improved marketing methods. ii) To maintain high level of customer satisfaction whilst maximizing profit by ensuring high standard of quality. iii) To maintain a high level of relation with all customers to ensure constant flow of profitable business and take care of all their problems irrespective of the source of the problem. (4) STAFF RELATED MATTERS: i) To analyze self-training needs. ii) To Self-rate Bi-monthly performance enhancement tool. iii) To maintain an excellent and professional relations with all in order to achieve a very healthy working environment. iv) To be self-motivated to maintain an environment of healthy competitiveness in order to achieve better results. v) To be innovative in order to maintain a competitive edge over others. vi) To ensure correct reporting system and compliance. (5) ADMINISTRATION: I) To review from time to time departmental activities and reporting systems. ii)To strictly adhere to systems, procedures, policies, discount structure laid by the company from time to time. (6) COMMUNICATION: i)To maintain good liaison with Team Members and peers of other departments. ii) Ensure constant communication with all Projects team staff to identify potential problems, formulate recommendations, solutions and report. iii) To always maintain a healthy line of communication with all staff members. (7) FINANCE: I) To keep the financial aspects of the business under constant review. ii) To highlight all sales discounts and suggest necessary action to Manager/Director whenever change is necessary. iii) Collection of payment from customers should be on time. Outstanding amount should always be kept under control. iv)Credit sales should be avoided as far as possible and extension of credit to any customer should only be done with prior management approval. – WORK CONDITIONS: 1) NORMAL WORKING CONDITIONS. 8 HOURS PER DAY EXCLUDING HALF AN HOUR LUNCH BREAK. 6 DAYS A WEEK. 2) Should be ready to travel locally as well as outstation if required. – RELATIONSHIP: WITH EQUIVALENT LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT IN OTHER DEPARTMENTS.
